My name is Laura Maria Villegas.
I’m currently living in San Diego, California. I have a Preliminary Designated Subjects CTE Teaching Credential and work under the industry sector of Manufacturing and Product Development.
Previously, I worked closely with art director Barry Fellman at an art gallery in Miami, Center for Visual Communication. I assisted artists such as Guerra de la Paz, Bunny Yeager, Clyde Butcher, and Barry Fellman during their exhibitions. I also updated the gallery website, created e-mail blasts, edited photos, created postcards, banners and any other graphic design elements as needed.
In the past, I have interned at Miami Today and Today’s Caregiver. I have helped small companies with their brand identity such as Gabby Lucha, Hush Hush, The Brighter Future Project and more. In the future I plan on receiving my Master’s degree in Education along with a Single Subject Teaching Credential. In the meantime, I like to help anyone in need of my graphic design skills.
Feel free to contact me for further questions.
****Please keep in mind that the work featured in my portfolio is STUDENT WORK ONLY and created while I was still attending Miami International University of Art & Design. ****
